View Full Version : Is it really that difficult to return the shopping cart to the shopping cart corral?

The cart has wheels! You dont even have to put that much effort into this.

You arrive at the store, find a cart in the proper location (like the corral).
You Use it.
But you dont put it back, instead you place it instead between the spot that your car was at and some unsuspecting car that likely has no scratches or dents on it. That is until you came to get Doritos you fucking fat ass.

You realize that that cart is eventually going to mar and scratch the paint on the other car right? Likely my fucking car. Or someone is going to pull into the spot and hit the cart...that you left behind.

Between this year and today I've got 9 little dents and scratches on my car from shopping cart anti-corralers and a messed up hood.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?

Dont give me that same old same excuse that the store has hired people to retrieve the carts, because if you read the fine print on the corral (which you never go to in the first place) you see the sign in small print that says the store is not responsible for the carts.

Fucking clowns.

Would you leave baby jesus in the parking lot like this?

It's incredibly difficult. You see, these are Very Important People who have Very Important Things To Do and the twenty seconds it would take them to walk to cart back to the corral is just far too long for such Very Important People. Better to just finish unloading and let their goldfish-like memory obscure it with the mists of random dendrites sparking to no effect into vast, echoing emptiness. Besides, think of all the hard work it would be to actually push a whole cart! God, it's just too much to ask!

I wonder if these people's homes are littered with small, stinking piles of feces because they couldn't be bothered to walk fifteen feet to the bathroom.

Yeah it is actually. The dent is far worse than it looks here. Red is dent, blue is where it fucking took paint off and is rusting. :comeandgetsome:

I'm one of those hippy fags who'll push an empty cart across half the parking lot to get it into a corral. Incidently, one of the places I shop has wheels that lock after you cross a certain line, so there's always a bunch of carts about a yard past that line.

My truck has many battle scars from these lazy people, mainly due to them and a few because I have sometimes nudged the carts with my bumper out of frustration.

On occasion I have gotten into verbal disagreements with the cart leavers...which are always interesting. Nothing over the top or snide enough to escalate into a confrontation...but that was in my youth, now I just honk at them and gesture which causes them to put the carts back out of the embarassment that everyone else on the lot is looking at them.
