I recently picked up a Fenix Lights E0 Flashlight. It's a neat little pocketable light that I chose because I don't need the power of the sun in my hand to look under the couch for things or light up a garage at night. I grabbed it from fenix-lights.com for $10 on sale, which appears to have been some sort of clearance because it's not listed anymore!

SPECS:

Light source: one super whatever LED
Battery type: one AAA battery
Run time: Apparently 20 hours, haven't tested this yet.
Output: 5.5 lumens
Size: Take a AAA battery and add an LED to the end and a small cap. it's smaller than my pinky. (math: 6.7cm)
build quality: all metal and waterproof. comes with an extra o-ring just in case. no glass up front to shatter. All in all I doubt dropping this thing from my roof would damage it.

FENIX-STORE.COM TRIP REPORT:
Paid through paypal on the 19th, was shipped from Georgia the same day. Received flashlight on the 21st. Can't complain.

TOTALLY NON-SCIENTIFIC LIGHT TEST:

Our subjects: The Fenix E0 and a cheapo keychain single LED light.

Darkest room in the house at noon: the bathroom.

There really isn't much contest between the two. It doesn't show up so well, what with my basic camera and all, but the Fenix light absolutely blew the other light out of the water, and had a much cleaner whiter light than the cheap single LED light. Last night I tested shining both around the backyard, and while the cheap light didn't even reach the back fence, the Fenix lit it up decently well, at least well enough to make out a face at that distance.

I'm quite pleased with this light, as it does exactly what it needs to very well, in a lightweight and small package. Great option for people who don't need a big old surefire sucking up $10 batteries in their pocket all the time.

This (https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_65&products_id=358) is a Fenix light that seems interesting. Check it out: At its max setting, it hits 220 lumens.
