I recently received a very nice birthday gift from my wife: new grips for my Ruger Redhawk!

These replaced the Hogue nylon grips that were awkward to hold, which had replaced the Hogue rubber grips that left the backstrap exposed, made recoil hurt, and rubbed the skin clean off one of my knuckles.
These grips come in two parts, but cover the entire backstrap and increase the width of the grip.

Note the seam that goes all around the grips. I've been told this seam can tear up one's hands under recoil, but I hope this isn't the case.

Dire warnings of hand-tearing notwithstanding, the grips feel just great. They fill the grip without going too far and compromising purchase. It's easy to get a fast, natural hold.
I'll update this post after a trip to the range with some nuclear magnums. Hopefully I won't be typing one-handed...
Speaking of nuclear magnums, gaze into the Pit of Doom on this .44 Magnum Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point:

These bullets are 240 grains and are advertised as leaving a four-inch barrel at 1,180 FPS. Ouch--on both ends.
