Rather than turning their back on a market besieged by anti-gun sentiment, Daniel Defense heeded the plight of California firearms owners by arming them with their newest offering: the Daniel Defense XV.
The DDXV has the same underlining as the new DDM4 -one of the hottest AR15 to the market as of late, except the XV is offered as a base package allowing the end user to customize the rifle as they need or see fit. To assist with California compliance the rifle may be purchased with a 10/30 Magpul magazine, and a Bullet Button magazine lock, again for California compliance.
Daniel previewed the rifle at the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series this past weekend in Lake Elsinore, along with support from the calguns.net forums (http://calguns.net)and a local vendor, RifleGear (http://riflegear.com).
The copy mentioned that they chose California as the launch point, to communicate their dedication to facilitating small arms needs to their customers and clients in the harshest of geographical and political climates. Amen on that one, and we give them a 230 salute.
