A couple of people have asked for some more detail on my abrasive cabinet in the How to Parkerize thread so I shot a quick video that shows a little more detail than the pictures I posted. Forgive my grammer and made up words (ventage???) in the video. I was tired and full of Cab Sav. Enjoy:
Video should work now

Impressive, I really like the setup it looks very well thought out.
Thanks for the video. It explained a lot of stuff I had questions about.
I'm so building my own blast cabinet now. I think I'm going to try to attach some sheet metal to the back to capture overshot. I might also try making a grillwork false floor to allow media to drop down below the working space. If I'm feeling frisky, there's a length of stovepipe just lying around my garage that might make a good cyclone media extractor.
My original plan was to make the blast cabinet capable of being taken down for storage, but after seeing your build it doesn't look like that's going to be feasible.

I'm sure you could make it to where it could be taken down but I doubt it would be tight enough to keep the media from leaking. A word of warning, I have heard that blasting with aluminum oxide in a metal container can produce enough static electricity to give you quite a jolt. I can't verify if that is true but it might something to thin about when you are arranging your sheet metal.

We must test this theory and video tape it. Using explosives if needed.

Proper grounding would prevent that from ever becoming an issue. I blast in a steel setup and have yet to be shocked. That said, I find your rig quite awesome.
