While reorganizing my box of miscellaneous gun-related stuff, I came across a couple things I no longer use, so I'm putting them up for sale in the hopes they go to a good home.

Pachmayr Presentation Grips for Ruger Redhawks

First up is a pair of Pachmayr rubber presentation grips for a Ruger Redhawk, as seen here (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=338182). I got these to help tame the recoil of the more ludicrous .44 Magnum rounds I was shooting, but discovered that at power levels that high they loved to grab the skin on my hand. It's too bad, because they feel amazing and provide a great grip. They should work well for moderate magnum or special loads.

These have been put on a gun once and shot for fifty rounds. They're otherwise as new.

In addition to the Pachmayrs, I'm throwing in a pair of Hogue nylon finger groove grips for Ruger Redhawks. I don't have a picture, but they're the ones shown here (http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=889542). These aren't part of the price, but are included free because they have a misthreaded screw hole in the bottom part that holds the grips on. If you can make it work, awesome; if not, just feel free to toss them.

$17 shipped for the Pachmayrs; the Hogue grips are included free.

Desantis Big Bore Shoulder Holster

As seen here (http://www.shopholsters.com/desantis-bigbore-shoulder-rig.html). This holster is designed to work with a wide range of gigantic scary revolvers. I originally got this in the thoughts of using it when hiking under a light cover garment, but some experimentation put the kibosh to that idea. It'd be good for shorter walks in the woods, but doesn't work that great with a backpack and doesn't conceal well under a loose shirt.

Fang, would this holster fit a Smith and Wesson X-Frame? What barrell length can it accommodate?

I'm not sure that it would fit something as big as an X-Frame, but someone just offered to buy it so it's sold pending funds.

I see no reason not to attempt to CC a .460 Magnum with an 8 3/8" barrel. Just think if you ever had to use it.....

"Excuse me while I whip this out!"

BLAMMO!

You wouldn't have to hit the attacker either, muzzle blast alone would do the job.

Thanks anyway Fang.

We've got to make this happen somehow, someway.

I think you'd only need to pull it out, not even shoot. Most experienced shooters when they see one on the range have a holy :oogle: moment, and we are the shooters. Can you imaging the pants wetting moment you pulled something like that out? The thug would probably give you his wallet.

If I ever get mugged again, I'm doing this. If he doesn't have a wallet, I'm at least taking his shoes.

Being the goon that bought this, as best I can tell it'll still have space available even after dropping my 7.5" Super Blackhawk into it.

This may not mean much, because the SB fits, albeit less nicely, in a 1911/BHP leather shoulder holster I bought at the last gun show here. (I think it's a High Power holster, because the included mag carrier fits my doublestack 1911 mags fine; I suspect single-stacks would be bouncing across the floor.) It also carries my .38 S&W Webley adequately, or my .22 single-actions.
