This thread also contains a box, but not full of guns, it will show up somewhere down there V.
I have recently acquired a Robinson Armament XCR-L in 5.56mm. It has a 18.6” 1:9 twist barrel in order for it to be classified as non-restricted up here in Canada. For those of you who may not know what it is let me give you a quick introduction:
The XCR was Robinson Armament’s entry into the SCAR competition that was ultimately disqualified because they failed to provide blank firing adapters on time. :(
It is a multi-caliber gas-piston weapon with quick caliber change (to change between calibers takes loosening one bolt, sliding out the gas assembly and barrel, replacing the bolt, and the barrel. It can be swapped out by someone with no practice in like 3 minutes). It uses an AK style piston and a 3 lug bolt. Currently there are conversion kits for 5.56, 6.8SPC and 7.62x39. They are apparently working on a 6.5grendal kit, but Robinson is notorious for being slow as fuck to release new things.
The XCR uses an extruded aluminum upper with a monolithic 17” MIL-STD-1913 rail. It also features 8” rails at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. It has a left side non-reciprocating charging handle with integrated forward assist, and an ambidextrous bolt release/hold open that can be actuated with your trigger finger. There is also a 5 position adjustable gas block, with a setting for suppressed fire. Newer models feature an integrated winter trigger guard, but mine is old and does not.
I didn’t take any photos of unpacking it form the box, putting the upper/lower together etc. So here are some pics of it in my yard.

I wonder what could be in this box! Let's check the customs declaration.

Wait what? What does that have to do with guns?! Oh well, guess we should open the box.

That’s a lot of packaging material.. let's delve deeper. Hmm is that the ergonomic cup I see?

Well that doesn’t look right. But there seems to be more in this magical mystery box.

Looks like some kind of tape dispenser/baby murder device.
Oooh toy cars!

And here is all that crap laid out.

And now we come to the part where I stick all of this crap on the XCR.
