You can pretty much see the spinal shot or chin shot on the horizon with this particular video clip. Screwed up thing is that hes going to wind up becoming an ambassador for the firearms enthusiasts community after he does so. :sad2:

I noticed that the two videos were titled "gun retention drill"..............shouldn't that read, "gun retarded drill" ?. I kept waiting on that guy to shoot himself in the kidney.

The second guy has a bad case of "Uncle Rico-itis".

Holy shit this is the stupidest shit I have ever seen. Except the grabbing the slide bit, I actually think that contains valuable information about keeping the travel of your slide from becoming obstructed. The rest of it is just going to lead to a very long-winded and very embarrassing situation when you explain how you shot yourself in the kidney.

My biggest issue is this stupid bullshit doesn't resolve the close quarters gun problem in the slightest. In fact it creates more opportunities for me to punch you in the mother fucking face and take your gun. A proper retention drill teaches you to leave your gun in your holster and put downward pressure on it until you can deploy your gun without the risk of having it taken away from you.

Funny, they actually showed this one in my firearms safety course. What not to do, that is. :grin:
