So, I totally forgot to post this here once I finished it even though I discussed its build with @230grain on twitter a few times.
Specs of build:
CMMG lower (DPMS (I think) parts kit with lightened springs)
MIAD grip (spare bolt/firing pin insert)
PRS stock (trying not to scratch it up so I can have it switched out with an OD green one soon and the black one will go back up in the shop)
MBUS sights
Vortex Strikefire scope
RRA .458 SOCOM upper
Prince50 mag release (taking it to Kali this summer)
Midwest Industries free-float (that had to be ground out to fit the HBAR)
Noveske TA:WP dust cover
Blackhawk Universal Swift Sling
2x Brownell's straight 20 mags artificially limited to 5x rounds of .458S
2x Bushmaster curved 20 mags
1x unknown 30 round
1x OD Green Magpul window P-Mag
The rifle bag is a semi-custom one done by a local shop that outfits police across the state with custom made tac vests. It's a test version, he wants my ideas on the next version of it. So far, two more inches and a third strap for underneath the rifle would be perfect. (The black tape was what I had holding the switch of my flashlight on to the VFG, not covering a rip or imperfection.) The buttend and foreend sling attachments are currently being used to hold rifle in place in bag while waiting for the correct parts to be fabricated (time constraint due to plate carriers being made for local PD at same time.)
Sitting in it/on it are my GLOCK 19 with a CTC laser grip (I put the laser stickers on it just because I found them amusing, I doubt I'd get in trouble for not having them), two cans of pepper spray, KA-BAR Game Hook, KA-BAR Marine Hunter, KA-BAR Hatchet, my ghetto CAA VFG that doesn't match the Magpul ODG, switch for my Fenix TA20, Fenix TA20, CAA flashlight holder, the 2x magnifier Strikefire, and my CRKT NIRK pocket knife. I really love this knife, two pieces of metal and a screw.
I got the drop leg holster for 40 bucks, going to dye it black.
Not pictured are my Blackhawk CQC paddle and shoulder holsters.
Also not pictured are 2x15 round G19 mags, 2x17 round G19 mags, 1x33 round G18 mag, and 2x10 round Kali compliant G19 mags.
